Gamers are gearing up for the first college football game to come out since 2014. EA Sports College Football 2025 is in full swing and will have some key features that fans of the franchise will love. Popular game modes like “Road to Glory” and “Dynasty” will be back. The video game developer also is giving players an option to be included in the game.
The game will feature 134 playable FBS football teams. Unlike previous versions of the game, It will not feature any FCS schools at the time of launch. While this won’t be bothersome to some fans, it is a disappointment for others. So players that want more of a challenge in creating a dynasty will have to look elsewhere for that challenge. If the game includes a create-a-school feature, that seems to be the best (only) alternative if you want to play with teams like North Dakota, South Dakota State, Harvard, etc.
I am a little disappointed that FCS schools won’t be in the football game. Hopefully, that will change in future versions of the game. Beggars can’t be choosers though, and I am a beggar when it comes to college football video games. It’s just a little disheartening that I won’t be able to win more championships than Nick Saban with Villanova. That was my go-to team back in the day.
EA Sports announced they will launch an official EA Sports College Football 2025 sometime in May. The consoles the game will be available on haven’t been announced yet, but the best bet is it will be on the PlayStation 5 and the XBOX Series X.
